The group is a rotary club from South Carolina. They've been working in this community, about 30 minutes outside of Copan, building houses.

Another village
Tim and I arrived in Copan Thursday afternoon after a ridiculously long bus ride (7+ hours). On Friday, we went with Gloria and the group she's been leading to a nearby village.
There are 28 families in the community, and Heifer wants to help each of them build a new house. Their current houses are literally falling over. They're made from sticks and mud with tin roofs. Inside, the space is divided by hanging blankets. If there's any furniture it's plastic (stools, tables, chairs). They have fires inside for cooking. Along with the new houses, Heifer is teaching the people how to build eco-stoves.
