The village was really isolated, even though it was only 30 minutes drive from Copan. The road was all dirt and rocks with lots of tight turns. The village itself runs up the side of a mountain, along some really beautiful scenery (that these pictures really don't capture). I think I was able to see Guatemala, which is only 12 km from Copan.
