So I mentioned before that Fundacion Simiente is working on preserving a small stretch of forest in the community where we stayed. They hope it will generate some eco-tourism, and they also hope it will allow the villagers to keep taking advantage of everything the forest gives them, but in a more sustainable way.
We helped out by making signs that will go in the preserve. The signs have the tree's common name and then the scientific name.
