Every night at dinner I sit with Gloria and Nehemias, her co-worker at Heifer. He's really nice and usually laughing. Last night, he offered me his baked potato. I wasn't sure if I heard him right, so I asked (in Spanish) if he wanted me to eat his potato. At least that's what I meant to ask.
The word for potato in Spanish is papa, accent on the first syllable. The word for dad in Spanish is papa, accent on the second syllable. I accidently asked Nehemias if he wanted me to eat his dad.
No one ended up eating the potato. We were laughing too hard.
