La pulperia, exterior
La pulperia is a staple in Honduran towns, and Copan is no exception, with one on almost every corner. They're sort of like scaled down corner stores. Candy, soda, cigarettes, gum, bread, juice, milk. Most sell cellphone minutes (people here tend to have pay-as-you-go phones). Also giant jugs of purified water. And, of course, newspapers.
