Trash

There is an unbelievable amount of litter here, in city streets and all over the countryside. The government hires people specifically to clean the streets in places like Copan. You can see them with their brooms, sweeping trash and dirt to the side of the road. In places like Nueva San Ysidro, they burn their trash. Pretty bad for the environment, but they don't really have an alternative. The smell is horrible.
