B&B


We stayed in this beautiful old house in Trinidad. Sort of like a bed and breakfast. Elio, Irma and their daughter Elia. The house was very open. A big courtyard in the middle. Also this retro tile floor; pine and mustard checkered. 

While we were there, Elia celebrated her 36th birthday. So the family slaughtered their pig. I knew they were going to kill it, but I freaked out when I walked into the kitchen and saw the skinned pig cut in half, lying by the sink. The day before it followed us around the yard while we picked cinnamon to make tea. Gloria thought it was really funny how upset I was. Sigh...
