Back in Copan.

The group left Las Mercedes on Wednesday and spent all day baking in the bus en route to Copan. We'll be here until tomorrow morning.

Arrived just in time for Honduras vs. Mexico. On Wednesday night, the whole country watched Honduras' soccer team beat their big rival and secure a spot in the 2010 World Cup. As soon as the game was over, the streets exploded. People hopped into their cars and drove around for hours, honking horns and shouting and singing. Cheering and gun shots until early Thursday morning. Honduran flags are still hanging everywhere, especially on taxis and cars.
