We stayed in someone's house in Trinidad, sort of like a bed and breakfast. (The group was small, just 9 of us including me and Gloria). One afternoon, our host Irma took us on a tour of her property. She has about 1.5 acres of different trees. Tropical cedar, allspice, avocado, lemon. Here's a cinnamon tree. The bark is what you would buy in the store as cinnamon sticks. Gloria and I picked some leaves and a little bark to make cinnamon tea. Perfect with a little bit of fresh lime.
